Our Work
We work with some amazing people! Check out what we’ve been helping them do lately.
The Alberta-Parent Child Assistance Program (PCAP)
The Alberta Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) Council supports 30+ programs, bringing the PCAP model to communities in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed way.
Nearly half of these programs work with clients on-reserve or in Métis settlements, and the Council wanted to understand how programs were adapting PCAP to meet community needs and how to collect better data to track impact.
That’s where we came in!
We worked with staff from 16 sites to explore how they were shaping PCAP for local needs. From there, we developed a framework that connected adaptations to cultural traditions and highlighted funding gaps. We also helped the Council explore data collection best practices and assess what would work for Indigenous programs.
The result? A clear, actionable data roadmap to guide the Council’s next steps.

The First Nations Health Consortium
The First Nations Health Consortium helps First Nation and Inuit kids in Alberta access health, education, and social services. When a sports organization asked for help launching a program for kids on-reserve, they jumped in.
Then a literacy foundation reached out to get books into kids’ hands. Another exciting project! As pilot opportunities kept growing, they needed a clear framework and a way to track impact.
That’s when they called us!
We worked with staff to map out how pilots were running, align them with the mission, and make planning more engaging using creative methods like collage.
We helped frontline staff define meaningful metrics and create easy-to-use data collection tools.
We gave staff simple tools, workplans, decision guides, and checklists to streamline pilot planning!
